Hülya Denktaş

She was born in Izmir and graduated from Ege University Chemical Engineering Department and Belgium Ghent University Environmental Sanitation Master's Degree with honors. Her carreer started at Sun Chemical in 1996 as a Water-Based R&D Engineer and took part in various positions. Currently, she is working as Liquid Inks Technical Director in Sun Chemical Turkey & Egypt , Managing Water Based Technologies Center of Excellence for  EMEA regions. Research and Development , innovation, Technical Marketting of Ink Technologies, managemnt of special ink solution project in packaging industry are  her main responsibilities.  She is married and have one daughter. Her favorite hobbies; Sailing, Swimming, Skiing, Music and New Generation Coffee.

Presentation Title: SunChemical Recyclable and Bio Renewable Solutions for the Packaging Industry

SunChemical uses the 5R (ReUse, Reduse, ReNew, ReDesing, ReCycle) framework as a guide in its Sustainability and Circular Economy approach. Digitalization extending from the brand owner to the consumer shelf with Digital Color Management Systems, technologies that support maximum recycling in packaging structures, DRS compatible security inks, Bio-based naturally renewable products, De-inking solutions. Barrier-enabled lamination adhesives, DFC and high resistance OPV. Technologies developed with bio-based resources instead of fossil-based materials in all segments. Package solutions that provide maximum support for recycling and reducing CO₂ emissions in flexible packaging, from various materials  to mono material structures, from laminated structures to single-layer structures, from plastic to paper.
